Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a titan of Nigerian politics, often referred to as the "Asiwaju" (Leader) of Lagos and a master political strategist. Born in 1952, he has transformed from a professional accountant in the private sector into the foremost political architect of modern Nigerian democracy.

The Builder of Modern Lagos: Serving as Governor of Lagos State (1999–2007), he took a state with a monthly internally generated revenue (IGR) of ₦600 million and increased it to over ₦11 billion, transforming it into Africa’s 4th largest economy through innovative economic reforms.
Democratic Activist & Strategist: As a Senator in the 90s, he fought against military rule and was a key player in the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO). He is lauded for building the political alliances that resulted in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
