Sunday Dare, Spokesperson to President Bola Tinubu, and Hon. Abiodun Bolade (AbbeyGovernor) hosted the Honourable Minister of Health, Professor Muhammed Ali-Pate, for a strategic engagement on Nigeria’s Health Sector under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.
The Minister, alongside Sunday Dare, assured Nigerians of better healthcare delivery, including timely credit alerts and significantly improved health services across the country.

The Federal Government, through the Honourable Minister of Health, Professor Muhammad Ali-Pate, has disbursed the 4th Quarter Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) implementation funds to all 36 States and the FCT. The funds were released via the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA), NPHCDA, NCDC, and NEMTC.
What is NEMTC?
National Emergency Medical Treatment Committee (NEMTC) is a key pillar of the BHCPF. It is designed to provide Nigerians with immediate, lifesaving emergency medical care — including ambulance services, transportation, and initial stabilization — without upfront payment or financial hardship.
Selected State Breakdown:
• Abia State: ₦553,196,558.98
• Oyo State: ₦753,251,944.40
• Bauchi State: ₦897,179,547.32 (and other states accordingly)
Beneficiaries:
These funds will provide subsidies for vulnerable groups, including pregnant women, children under 5, the elderly, and indigent persons at registered Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) nationwide.
Fund Management:
The management of the PHC funds is domiciled at the grassroots through Ward Development Committees and Facility Health Committees, comprising community leaders, religious figures, and local representatives.
